 Mr. Paul's Homepage
Welcome
Not too stiff for an electronic age medium I hope. It's just that we don't know each other well yet. I want to connect with you, and trust that we will come to appreciate each other's qualities.

Come along now and join me as we explore what there is to find.

It's me!
I suppose I go first as we get to know each other. I am a Christian liberal. I believe that U.S. democracy and the free market economic model is valid, but Americans must mature in our capacity to be more socially responsible. Economic competition produces losers but social policy must care for all. God or injustice may have created poor competitors but no one can measure the value of another human. I am optimistic that we can make the world a better place.

I am extremely capable of strong remarks and have an occasional sharp tongue. God and maturity are helping me to curb these characteristics in order to communicate with minimal offense. I do slip up from time to time.

I have what is referred to as the gift of serving. I will do for anyone what I can. Consequently, I have periods where I am ruffled because I feel taken advantage of. Isn't that how we all feel at times? Probably the cause of many folk to take the non-servant perspective. My capacity to accept what comes is rooted in my belief that all is well with my soul.

Do not fear that my site will preach at you. Because my faith is an intergral part of me it is always there. However my intention is to create a site that many will visit and find interesting. Should we discuss and therefore come to understand each other better I will call my venture a success. If visitors are inspired by my faith it is to God's glory.

What is the world coming to?
Is there no end to the depths that people can go to? Of course I am referring to Kosovo. The American involvement is dubious, what with our track record of hidden agenda but I am proud to be part of the world body that rejects barbaric atrocity. This is not the start of WW III but it is the end of American foreign policy via smartbomb. As we demonstrate the futility of killing on behalf of others, and our partners see that Uncle Sam has his limits, the post war (take your pick) world must see that each country is accountable for their own regional interests. And the interest I refer to is not American $$$. To quote a famous American, the times they are a changin'.
